i was kind of sad to see that radiohead was taken, but from the ashes of one character comes another. this is xander kavine with the credits of oasis. xander has always been kind of a flighty individual. if he wanted something he'd put all of his energy towards it and then get bored halfway through and lose interest. he was offered a scholarship to a university in phoenix, arizona although he was originally from scottsdale. after moving to the city, he spent half a semester paying attention until he realized it was a waste of time and dropped out by november. as far as music was concerned he never took it seriously. he played for a friend's last day at work, to help out the marijuana party at his college for a fundraiser and for his sisters bat mitzvah back home. music for him was never a serious option because he didn't see himself as anything more than a guy with a guitar and the voice of a 13 year old boy going through puberty. at the bat mitzvah things all changed when the pr agent father of one of his sisters 12 year old friends caught him performing. at first he'd only agreed because his parents hadn't had enough money to get a real band and his sister was a little addicted to my sweet 16 so she said that she needed something so he agreed. when approached xander thought it was a joke, but he was soon taken to a studio with a couple of his college friends and a couple professional musicians and started recording. his cd "mousike" came out last march and has had whirlwind success. the only problem being that, much like oasis, xander has no idea how to handle press. he'll say what he wants, do what he wants and he's honest about things he shouldn't be which gives his pr team a headache. girls seem to love his sailoresque mouth and biting sarcasm. when interviewers approach him calling him the next rock music prodigy, he just kind of stares at them and asks if they're joking because to this day he just messes around and doesn't take anything seriously. he's about ready to get back into the studio, he's just finishing up the end of his first headlining mini tour. like many oasis songs clearly spell he's a fan of the occasional drug and loves to drink (watermelon vodka if he has a say about it). he's eerily down to earth because he still sees himself as a nobody although people need to get over his sarcasm or be just as cut throat back and he'll take a shining to you immediately. he now has a shitty condo in new york so i need a roommate. i could use any lines whatsoever. like if his songs were used for a tv show or movie and he attended the premier, older girls he's flirted with since he's now 21 and likes females of the older variety, friends he's made along the way, people he may have known beforehand from camp or something. let me know!

Hola, it's not exactly finished yet but you can mosey on over here (click the lollipop..) to find her directory. I'll add the discography after I've catched some zzz's, but I figured I'd post here now. In case you don't want to go through all of that, here are some bulleted key points:

Basically, she's a big ball of sass with a creamy nougat center.. but it's shockingly deep down there. Like, super deep. Particularly men, but in general as well. The only storyline I have so far is with jonsson, so I'm looking for anything really. Anyone she could have worked with, friends, ex-roommates or a current roommate, cousins, ex-flings, whatever.

Since I'm slow with trends and also a stubborn cow, I'm doing a re-connection like many others did!
Okay - as you know (or don't know...), this is Cody. She's a twenty-eight year old filmmaker and author who writes like Clive Barker. Her grandmother was a famous movie star in the fifties/sixties (think like Sophia Loren) and her uncle Vittorio Castelucci is Italy cult film royalty (NPC played by Dario Argento).
She believes in doing everything in excess, though she tries to (kind of... on occasion...) be a good girl for sake of her near-18 month old daughter Alejandra (whose daddy is dentremont) and kept in line by levik who she enjoys tormenting far too much for it to be healthy.
She has quite a morbid and morally questionable sense of humor, has an obsession with classic films, is the kind of girl to take up dares like a fat kid in a candy store, and flirts shamelessly. In fact does everything shamelessly - which is probably why given the chance she has made lovely paparazzi payment.

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY:
ember grew up in oxford, england. everything in her life seemed completely normal to her, there had never been a hint of any strange goings on such as a silly thing like magic outside of disney movies and rabbits being pulled out of hats. she attended a regular primary school and was a relatively normal, although reserved child who had few friends but was always known to be a competitive child in the sense that her art always had to be better or she was always right. during one of her competitive arguments with a classmate when she was around ten, her friend's artwork was engulfed in fire out of nowhere. after the initial shock the two of them faced over the situation, she found herself feeling slightly guilty -- for she had felt as though she'd done it. not wanting to sound absolutely mad, she ignored the situation and thankfully nothing as extreme as that followed although there were small happenings she couldn't explain every now and then. later, on her eleventh birthday when she bounded down the stairs for the birthday cake her mother made her every year, she was shocked to find the cake in uneven chunks on the floor and her mother's face ghost white as her father sat by her side. confused and immediately feeling guilty for whatever reason, she demanded to know what was happening. a letter was hesitantly handed to her and that was when, reluctantly, she found out a chunk of hidden truth. her father had been hiding the fact that he was a wizard for their entire relationship from her mother in fear that she'd find him absolutely nuts, or worse -- impossible to be in love with anymore. he'd sacrificed the world of magic for a standard office job and had done everything to please ember's mother. ember was terribly confused, because not only was she a witch apparently capable of magical powers but her parents were in an entire rift over the unbelievable subject! now, she was learning that she'd have to go to some kind of magical school.
having never spent more than a day away from home (which she had spent with her unpleasant grandmother), she was scared and full of nerves that now she had to be away from her parents and immersed in some kind of magical world she knew nothing about. slightly angry toward her father, she began to blame him a little and has never really had a positive relationship with him since. her mother and him never quite rekindled properly ever and are always bickering whenever she returns from holidays at hogwarts. at hogwarts, she became the girl who read books a plenty (for her enjoyment) but was not really of any extroadinary talent or wit. artistic and quiet, she has been the one to blend in with the rest of the gryffindors around the fire at night or in the library corner but never the one to pop out in a crowd. her competitive side was never lost however, as she still often competes with her classmates to see who will get a better grade on a homework assignment or an essay (which, she usually loses because she'd rather read muggle literature than read her copy of 'hogwarts, a history.').
ember has no knowledge about her father's side of the family and neither does her mother. they were most likely mixed wizards and non, who basically disowned him for choosing the path that he did. ember knows that her father was a hufflepuff and that he did have one brother, but she's never heard anything else about his family. her mother on the other hand, as stated, is a muggle who as far as they both know has not even the slightest hint of wizardry in her blood. which is somewhat strange, considering ember has a muggle-born cousin who also attends the school. it at least helped her feel less like a freak.

so here's violet malloren. she is, of course, the sister of malloren. sounds like sara bareilles. she's 18, california born and bred, and is literally just breaking into the business. she comes from a very musical family, started playing the piano when she was fourteen and writing her own lyrics in notebooks that she carried everywhere since she learned how to pick up a pen. she never really thought she'd end up doing music professionally, mostly because she was/is pretty shy about her talent and felt overshadowed by her big brother and his success, but she's finally learning how to get out on her own and do it. her debut album just released on october 28th, to quite a bit of critical acclaim, and she's busy hitting the pavement and promoting it, although she's not exactly thrilled about comparisons to her brother. she's very wide eyed and innocent and curious, hasn't been tainted by the business at all, which just opens her up to getting screwed over. she's very sweet, down-to-earth, sarcastic and fun. she has a kind of loopy sense of humor that people don't always understand. (just pat her on the head and say, yes dear...)

Hello everyone! This is Nigel Carlton, who looks a lot like Milo Ventimiglia and sounds identical to Michael Buble. He's originally from Detroit, Michigan but moved to Los Angeles a few years ago. He originally hated living in Los Angeles because of the paparazzi and the constant warm weather, but is now starting to become a little bit of a media whore. hey ya'll! meet dash malloren. i'm still working on finishing up everything for him, but... he's a twenty year old (very soon-to-be twenty-one year old) california native who just happens to be a famous musician. he'll be having the voice and sound of connor oberst/bright eyes (whatever you want to call him).
dash was born and raised with music running through his blood and bones. he's basically one of those prodigy children who could sing before he could even walk. he started writing his own music when he was eight and recording his own music when he was twelve and was signed when he was fifteen (when he dropped out of high school and has never gone back to finish). that next year his debut album was released, and he went on his first major tour opening for thomas warnick (warnick's father). ever since then, dash has released a record every year in passing. he's not super-duper famous like 'nsync or fall out boy were/are, but he doesn't care. as long as he gets to play music whenever he wants, his b-grade status doesn't bother him. his music is his life, period.
personality wise... dash is completely oblivious to the most obivious (ie: warnick's song "we get on" being written about him). one would have to basically shove whatever it is in his face for it all to click and make sense. he's just so wrapped up in his music and own little world that he chooses not to really pay attention. other than that, he's the artsy smart type, a great listener, and fun-loving guy to be around who knows how to party when the time calls for it.
best friends, friends, enemies, past romances, current romances, hook-ups, tabloid scandals, etc. basically dash needs anything and everything, so hit me with your best shot. :)

Hello! This is Jake, a 26 year old New Yorker played by Jared Leto.
Jake is an actor primarily, although he'd much rather be a screenwriter. He spends a lot of his free time working on scripts that he never does anything with, but one day he plans on finally making the transfer over to that. If you don't know him from his acting, you probably know him from his partying. He's always hosting parties of his own and he's always turning up to the parties of everyone else, and he would probably list "alcohol" and "women" as the two best things to ever have been invented. Jake is a compulsive flirt and hits on almost anything female - but most of the time he doesn't mean anything by it and doesn't really have any intention of ever being with them, it's just something he does.
Jake is extremely arrogant and over confident. He is sarcastic, blunt, and will challenge anything he disagrees with even slightly. Despite this, he can be friendly and loyal if you've earned his respect, and actually earning his respect is much much easier than he tries to get you to believe. If you're intelligent, attractive, or can put up with his digs for more than five minutes then you're a friend in his book. He is an odd character in that his two favorite kinds of people are completely opposite - he either wants you to be the life and heart of the party, or he wants you to be someone who he can sit down and debate with.
I'm open to anything and everything! Storylines for him would be excellent.
